Whether you are in business, or you are working toward a professional goal, there are two key components to achieving solid success. With that said, if you feel that you are not seeing results in your business (or in your life), then it is one of two things:
1. Your reason WHY is not big enough.
2. You do not have belief.
When is the last time you heard the story of the person who had the dream and it just fell in her/his lap? A dream coming true is a result of action. We all have a reason(s) why we choose to do the things that we end up doing. When your reason why is big enough, and when you have honest and full belief (in your company, your products, your business model, and yourself), then you will do the activity – even when you don’t want to, even when you have been told NO 20 times in a row, even when someone else knocked what you were doing or mocked your dream.
Because it’s not about CAN you. It CAN be done, and it CAN be done with your dream. In my case and my professional peers, it can be done with this company, these products, and this business model; we have a bunch of success stories to prove it. The difference between you and a success story is not background or personality or experience or life circumstances. The difference between you and a true success story is the WHY and the BELIEF – they have it, you either don’t or you are working on it. Once you have it, then you start to see things change. Next comes patience until you get to the top, but the moment you lose your WHY or your BELIEF, you take four steps back. Dreams require activity, and a lot of it (the more you do, the more benefits you reap immediately and down the road). And the only way you will motivate YOURSELF to do the activities is with a solid WHY and solid BELIEF system.
Don’t have it? But you want it? PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. Take a period of time to work harder on yourself than on your business or your goal. Not only will you see growth , you will see many facets of your life change in most positive ways – your marriage, your family dynamics, your friendships, your work ethic, your view on life, your priorities, your stress level, and so much more.
I’m living it. And I will be one of those success stories. Will you?
What is your dream? What is your reason for the dream (why do you have it)? And do you believe in what you are doing to attain the dream/goal? Do you believe in yourself? What kind(s) of personal development has/have been helpful to you?
